"You clean the outside of your cup and plate, while the inside is full of what you have gotten by violence and selfishness. Clean what is inside the cup first, and then the outside will be clean too!"

I thought God emphasize that clean inside of our minds is more important than outside of our bodies.

Sex is an integral part of God's good creation. Sex is not inherently sinful since it is the means by which we carry out the commandment to "be fruitful and multiply" (Gen. 1:28).

Lev. 15:18 may have been intended as a reminder that sexual activity, like all other human activities, occurs under God's watchful eye. Thus, we should strive for holiness in every aspect of life.

潔淨後重生的人，須在罪的世界中死去而在神的國度裡復活，然而這生命轉化的過程卻是十分艱苦，如同經歷主耶穌所走過的十架苦路，藉著對神的信心來面對世界的羞辱而活出不一樣的生命。

這兩隻潔淨的活鳥：一隻被宰殺、一隻被放生在田野裡，它的意義是象徵性的。這活鳥的「活」（living）字喻表它是健康的，是全部整體的 （whole）。「活水」是有生命，有能力的，源源不絕的泉源，不是那靜止的死水。香柏木具有香味，堅固的建材不易腐爛,喻表耐性高。朱紅色線的大紅色喻表血和出死入生，勝過死亡。牛膝草用來梆住香柏木。鳥被宰殺後流的血，流入盛活水的瓦器上面，而活鳥被放生在田野裡。

這「潔淨禮」表示活鳥與死鳥合而為一的，活鳥完結死鳥所成全的，活鳥既被放生，就顯明死鳥所成就的是已經完全了。這一個「潔淨禮」中鳥的的放生儀式象徵以前患痳瘋病人，一個不潔淨的人，彷彿從營外隔離的死地，從舊日疾病的羈絆中得到釋放，有了新的生命，新的活力，與新的盼望，可以重返家園與他的同胞家人一起敬拜，過團契的生活，再一次正式成為上帝子民團體的一份子。

可見這兩隻鳥是預表基督的死而復活。更提醒我們這些原本是罪的人，因主耶穌基督的受死，被釘在十架上，親身擔當了我們的罪，使我們既然在罪上死，就得以在義上活。因祂受的鞭傷，我們便得了醫治（彼得前書 2:24）。只要到基督那裡，使我們因信稱義，與神和好。我們的老我藉著洗禮歸入死，和基督的受死一同埋葬，感謝上帝，叫我們一舉一動有新生的樣式，像基督藉著父的榮耀從死裡復活一樣（羅馬書 6:4）。

Christ carried our sins in his body to the cross, so that we might die to sin and live for righteousness. And then Christ was raised from death by the glorious power of the Father, so also we might live a new life.

Two living birds were needed to cleanse the leper and his/her house. One of the birds would be killed while the other was kept alive. Jesus himself bore our sins in His body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness. The living bird symbolizes a new life after we were buried with Jesus Christ through baptism into death.
