默想: 親愛的主！求你將悟性與智慧賞賜給我，使我能夠從你所創造的宇宙中看出你奇妙的作為而敬拜你。

題目: 約伯一直要詢問耶和華他無辜受苦的緣由，上帝卻拿動物學來考問約伯，你對此有何感想呢？

上帝的奧祕不只是藏在苦難之中，舉目所見，飛鳥禽獸的本能，自然生態的平衡，宇宙萬物的規律，再聰明的人類也無法創造出其中最小的一件，就如我們可以做出超級電腦，但是卻做不出一隻百分之百的小螞蟻。
上帝在這裡可能想藉由動物天生的本性來告訴約伯，這些其實都是上帝所設計的，然而人也是 祂所創造的，祂對每個人都有計畫，從過去的成就，現在的受苦，到未來的一切，上帝都會有 祂的安排。
但願主憐憫我，讓我能明白您對我的計畫，在您的指導下能扮演好每個角色。

我想哈拿在屬靈上最大的榜樣便是『在耶和華面前不住的祈禱』，雖然我有時會禱告，但是卻無法像哈拿那樣凡事祈求並稱頌耶和華，而且常常也不是在耶和華面前祈禱，而是在自己面前祈禱，為的大部分是自己所要的，而不是拿出自己的東西歸給耶和華。另外，關於哈拿獻上撒母耳的部份，我會覺得可能還是得等到孩子大了些再由他自己決定要不要決志吧。
但願主能讓我學習如何在您面前不住的禱告，使我少為自己求，少求受安慰，但求安慰人；少求被瞭解，但求瞭解人；少求愛，但求全心付出愛。

這裡所描述的末日徵兆確實不大好懂，我會比較傾向為屬靈與血氣的爭戰，耶穌要我們謹慎，儆醒祈禱，因為有許多迷惑，或許末日並非世界的毀滅而是良知的喪失，當我們被物質假象迷惑，人性失去了光輝後便是災難的開始。
但願主憐憫我，讓我能時常儆醒，在充滿黑暗的世代裡，能看見您，看見希望的曙光。

約瑟在幫法老王解夢時，他其實已經三十歲了（創41:46），距離他被兄長陷害那年已隔了十三年（創37:2）， 神在這段他作奴隸及獄卒的十三年磨練他，累積他的智慧也賜他解夢的能力，神很奇妙的先藉由膳長及酒政的夢，以及兩年後法老王的夢來成就約瑟，而這夢卻是出於 神的計畫。
但願主給我同在的智慧，讓我的夢想是出於您的計畫，明白您給我夢想的意義，也給我實現夢想的能力。

我覺得埃及在神的計畫當中似乎是特別的,亞伯拉罕'約瑟,甚至主耶穌都曾經到埃及得到庇護.
法老王的夢,代表著神的預警;在那之前,神又已經預備好約瑟;以上加起來,又代表著雅各全家的得救(from饑荒).
神的計畫總是完整的,中間有祂的子民,也有不是的..但總的加起來,就是要讓信他的人更加堅定,未信祂的人能經由這些事來認識祂.

It was very interesting reading all of your comments and responses concerning the comparison between Reuben and Judah.
We got scanty information in the Bible concerning the inner motivation of their actions, so we could only speculate with humility.
Though Judah seemed to be more covetous than Reuben, but God decided to choose the tribe of Judah as the origin of the Messiah, rather than the tribe of Reuben.

Sometimes we just could not understand the reason why God allowed such astrocities to happen in history or in our lives.
This was a tragedy in Israel history that eleven tribes had to resolve to use such extreme means to solve the issue against another tribe. Bible just recorded this tragedy for us to read. Personally I would treat this section of story as descriptive, rather than prescriptive.

Hopefully all of us would have our own Bethel where we could find our God's mercy and protection
