很像骨肉兄弟之中，有人背棄自己的父母；也像離棄信仰的基督徒，比原本未信的人還硬心。無怪乎耶利米被稱為流淚的先知，他的心痛可想而知，遑論那"萬軍之耶和華─以色列的神"。

其實挺佩服亞薩能誠實地在神面前說出心中的不平，又找到出路。
"因而，我心裡發酸，肺腑被刺。我這樣愚昧無知，在你面前如畜類一般。"73:21-22一開始的不舒坦是因為看到罪人亨通，當來到神面前"思想他們的結局"，便覺得自己簡直像牲畜一樣（只思考今生及眼前）。
"除你以外，在天上我有誰呢？除你以外，在地上我也沒有所愛慕的。"73:25 原來這就是"清心的人"的秘訣呀！

『神實在恩待以色列那些清心的人。』
其實，我想要讓自己能夠把心裡的雜念放下，應該也不是件容易的事情。
不久前小女兒的同學要到美國兩年，他的父母在家裡幫他辦了個歡送派對，小女兒看到她同學家裡昂貴的玩具（是一台幾乎和真的一樣的 ATM 提款機玩具），便忍不住要求我去買一個，當時我不知如何向女兒解釋這可能要花他老爸半個月薪水，只能先告訴她，我們想看看可不可以自己來做一台呢？
我覺得人與人開始相處後好像就會開始比較，上了幼稚園，大人比較小孩誰比較可愛，眼睛比較大，小孩比較誰的玩具比較好，家裡比較大，再大了一點就比較才藝，成績，學校，出了社會便比較薪水、工作、職位...，好像什麼事都可以拿來比較；但是一比較，心裡難免會有驕傲或是忌妒，當慾望無法制止時，便不會有感到滿足的一天。我想這樣無窮無盡的比較下去，看到有人亨通順利，或許那人不是惡人，也會因為眼紅而把他當作惡人吧。
但願主憐憫我，讓我在這樣的世代仍能學習如何清心，有智慧能判斷哪些事物是不需要比較的，保守我的心思意念，不要被世界捆綁，讓我能得到真正自由的喜樂。

Chapter 44 described the last prophesy that Jeremiah conveyed to the Jews, who still did not learn from past experiences of failure (Jer 44: 9-10) and got stuck in the mistakes such as idolatry, which went against the Lord's laws, decrees, or stipulations.
What drove Jeremiah to reminding them the disasters was probably because of the words from the Lord, "I will overthrow what I have built and uproot what I have planted, throughout the land. …but wherever you go I will let you escape with your life" (45:4-5).
When the Lord no longer endures the wicked actions and the detestable things, He will definitely exert justice. Meanwhile, the righteous will be under His wing.

Though the wicked seem prosperous, the arrogant appear not threatened by oppression, the Lord will eventually place them on slippery ground, and cast them down to ruin (Ps 73:18). When our feet almost slip and we nearly lose our foothold, be near God, the strength of our heart, since the earth has nothing to be desired besides Him.
May my heart be pure enough so that I won't envy the possession of the earth. Being unable to be free from burdens and struggles, may my confidence in God remain strong. Prayer in the name of Jesus. Amen!

我想所羅門王在那時已經是十分有智慧的君王，上帝所賜給他的智慧足以讓以色列成為十分富強的國家，所羅門王依照耶和華的指示蓋了聖殿，然後再蓋自己的宮殿，這應該是很有智慧的決定，只是不明白他為何要花更多時間來蓋自己的王宮，在他的智慧裡他所考量的為何？是想要彰顯自己的榮耀勝過神的榮耀嗎？我想他應該不至於如此愚昧來激怒耶和華，在我的感想是，即使是得著了屬神的智慧，但是在人間仍有血氣的爭戰，如同他父親大衛王，雖然是合神心意的君王，但仍難免犯罪跌倒，要在物質的社會裡要能戰勝撒旦的誘惑，可能也是一件很艱難的學習吧。

Solomon spent 7 years building the temple, but he spent 13 years building his house. The temple was glorious, but it seems that Solomon wanted a house that was more glorious than the temple.
At the end of the detailed, magnificent description of Solomon's palace, it says that some of the great architectural features of the palace were also used in the house of the Lord. As great as the temple was, the Solomon's palace was probably better.
It seems that the place which his own personal comfort and luxurious tastes had come to occupy in the life of Solomon. Thus, though Solomon finished the work of building the temple, what is weighed by the Lord more is whether he could spread the gospel of Jesus Christ.

神有指示所羅門王蓋聖殿的細節，但並沒有"干涉"蓋宮殿的事，或許這是為什麼建造所羅門王的宮殿耗時比聖殿還久的原因之一，因為人的慾望會隨著眼見以及時代的流行而改變，十三年的時間，室內設計不知改過幾回呢！
正是"凡事都可行，但不都有益處。凡事都可行，但不都造就人。"林前10:23
神有明確指示我們該做的事，反倒好像容易些，神沒有明說的部分，自由意志與聖靈引導，後者成份越高，就越能在日常生活中做討神喜悅的決定吧！

依據路加福音的記載，在最後晚餐時門徒為了他們中間誰要為大而起爭論，耶穌教導他們：『你們裡頭為大的，倒要像年幼的；為首領的，倒要像服事人的。是誰為大？是坐席的呢？是服事人的呢？不是坐席的大嗎？然而，我在你們中間如同服事人的。』
我的感想是主耶穌為門徒洗腳，除了親自屈身來服事他們之外，還要求他們也要彼此服事。我想很多時候，我們常希望別人能為自己做些什麼，但是卻很少想為別人做些什麼。然而當我們能為別人想做些什麼時，這裡便產生一種關懷的愛，這樣的愛或許也是主耶穌希望能藉由門徒來傳揚下去的吧。

耶穌為門徒洗腳以作榜樣--大的服侍小的。由另一角度看，門徒被洗腳是甚麼樣的心情呢？
有一次，我們過逾越節，由老師為我們洗腳，前一個晚上，大家拼命洗腳'去角質，不想把臭腳丫擺在老師面前，當老師輕輕地幫我們洗腳'擦乾的時候，說不上來的感覺...。
彼得說："你永不可洗我的腳！"他大概也是不想把自己不乾淨'不體面的部分擺在耶穌面前；然而耶穌說："我若不洗你，你就與我無分了。"
耶穌替門徒洗腳，除了老師服侍學生之外，應該也有"全盤接納"的意思吧！

I thought that the difference between those remained and those exiled was not in their location, but in their relationship with Yahweh. If the Lord clearly told them to go exile, then choosing to remain would mean disobedience. If the Lord clearly told them to remain, then choosing to go abroad would mean disobedience. When those remained decided to go down south to Egypt, Yahweh clearly told them to stay, yet they insisted on moving south, so they would turn into bad fruit...

In Psalm 45, the description was the intimate interaction between the king and the queen. In Psalm 46, the scenario was the trusting relationship when in trouble or disaster. In Psalm 47, the situation was in public worship and praise.
Thus the presence of God could be experienced when we had intimate interaction with him during our devotion time, as well as when we trusted him during our difficult and challenging time, as well as when we praised him during our worshipping time.

與JBC姐有同感，黃金是一個貴重的金屬。對人而言，一位至高無上，聖潔尊貴的神，就像黃金一般尊貴，光彩耀人，令人不敢逼視。
也許以色列人用精金製造這些器具、包裹這些器具，也是表明他們看重神的同在，所以他們願意獻上自己認為最貴重的禮物---耶穌降生時，博士也帶了這個獻給他。

Jesus set a good example of being a good master by washing His disciples' feet. "I tell you the truth, no servant is greater than his master, nor is a messenger greater than the one who sent him" (Joh 13: 16). Even Jesus, the one with the Word, is willing to serve ordinary people. Am I willing to follow Him to honor God?
He also wants us to love one another. "… Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another" (13: 34-35).
"…faith, hope, and love. But the greatest of these is love" (1Co 13:13). May my faith in God be strengthened continuously. With the unconditional love from God, I should devote myself to being His loyal disciple as a revelation of the Word.

請教了一下谷哥，他認為以精金裏外包裹皂筴木，表明主耶穌的完全聖潔。而精金及皂筴木來表明基督耶穌兼備神人二性。
皂筴木是堅實的，在這裏是預表主的人性。精金，在聖經裏是表明神的義、神的榮耀和屬乎神的一切，所以在這裏是預表主的神性。主耶穌是人，又是神；祂有人性，也有神性。（參考 倪柝聲 解經）
我的感想是至聖所與聖所應該是上帝要與人同在的地方，這裡的器皿用了精金及皂筴木來預表主耶穌的神性，放在聖所裡要與人同在，有可能也是預表著聖靈的降臨來讓我們能和天父與主同在。

I was interested to compare the experience of the Israelite people and that of God's great prophet Elijah, as recorded in 1 King 19:11-12.
Yahweh was not in the wind, quake, and fire, but Yahweh revealed Himself to prophet Elijah in "the voice of silence".

I would agree with your observations that these stipulations would reflect the local cultural values which might differ from ours. When we approached the scripture from such perspective, we should understand that we were walking upon a thin ice. The sad story of the last generations if Israel kings. It seemed that King Josiah did't follow the bad examples of his grandpa or father. I would be more interested to know the underlying motivation of those beneficient giving to the poor. One motivation might be to get fame, another might be to get even more benefit through this endeavor, the third might be to do long term investment so as to get his benefit back in heaven... The best motivation was to give to the poor because of the love of the Lord filling his heart, so that he had a compassion for the poor....

Marriage was exclusive love and it seemed that in the coming age, there would be no more exclusion in our relationships.
Concerning the relationship between male and female, I don't think that it should be waited until the age to come to enjoy the equal and mutual relationship. Based upon my understanding of Gal 3:28, all kinds of racial, social, and gender discriminations would be dismantled under the cross of Christ in this age.

The Lampstand of pure gold made by Bezalel might serve the following functions:
It had branches and the bowls were to be formed like almonds in blossom. It was therefore like a tree of gold. "In Him was life and the life was the light of men" (John 1:4). We not only need to see His light, we need to walk in His light (I John 1:5-7; Ephesians 1:18; 5:5-8).
The lampstand is all gold: it is God's work. We should confess anything shined on in our conscience to Jesus Christ the Righteous, who gave Himself for our sins (I John 1:9; 2:1-2).

我想今天的問題是如果你已經決定了一件事，可是不知道是不是神的旨意，所以找牧師問了一下，結果牧師認為神不會同意你的決定，這時你該如何呢？順服神可能會造成很大的損失，但是不順服神便是背叛了自己的信仰。
有時候我向神禱告總是希望神順服我的意思，而常忘記是我要順服神的意思。但願神憐憫我，幫助我能明白我所知的不足，當我看到只是片面而不知道您已經完全知道全貌時，請您提醒我，讓我能學會謙卑與順服，真正能照您的旨意而行。
