在申命記裡摩西提了四次：耶和華為以色列人的緣故也向他發怒，不容他過約但河，也不容他進入耶和華所賜以色列人為業的迦南地。 (申 1：37、申3：23-28、申4：21-22、申32：48-52)，

摩西不能渡約但河進迦南, 不能領會眾進入應許之地的可能原因：

1） 摩西沒有聽從耶和華的吩咐，擅自作主，不信祂，想要把以色列人埋怨上帝，爭鬧的責任推到以色列人身上。當以色列全會眾到了尋的曠野，就住在加低斯, 會眾沒有水喝, 百姓向摩西爭鬧的時候，在以色列全會眾前吩咐磐石發出水來；反倒憑血氣地對背叛的人說：「你們要我們使水從這磐石中流出來嗎？」（"Listen now, you rebels; shall we bring forth water for you out of this rock?"）。(民 20:12)
2） 摩西違背了耶和華的命令，沒有在湧水之地、在以色列人眼前尊耶和華為聖。(民數記 27:14)

求主幫助我們，在眾人眼前尊上帝為聖、聽從上帝的吩咐、相信上帝、遵行上帝的命令、學習勇敢面對困難、負起責任，去做當作的事，靠著主所賜給沒每個人的恩賜，各盡其職，為要成全聖徒，建立基督的身體（以弗所 4:11 – 12節），來榮耀上帝。

Following the Lord for so many years, Moses seemly forgot his duty and the supremacy of the Lord. He acted in his own way by raising his arm and struck the rock twice with his staff.

Never do what the Lord should dispose. After all, He cannot be replaced and it is we that have to keep reflecting upon whether our spiritual life remains or not.

讓我們來看兩處經節：約書亞記 24:4 「又把雅各和以掃賜給以撒，將西珥山賜給以掃為業；後來雅各和他的子孫下到埃及去了」。申命記 2:5 「不可與他們爭戰；他們的地，連腳掌可踏之處，我都不給你們，因我已將西珥山賜給以掃為業」。

記得，以色列全會眾在加低斯，請求以東王讓以色列全會眾人從以東的境界過去, 但以東王不肯，還攻擊以色列人，因此，以色列全會眾從加低斯起行，繞道，到了何珥山（民數記 20:16~22 節）。讓我們再看申命記 23:7 節， 它也告訴我們：「不可憎惡以東人，因為他是你的弟兄。不可憎惡埃及人，因為你在他的地上作過寄居的」。可見神是信實的，是公義的。祂雖愛雅各和他的子孫，但祂也顧念雅各的弟兄（以掃）的子孫和地上寄居的人；神的話永定在天，絕不改變。


在此處看到上帝對以色列全會眾的禁止與限制，當時的以色列人可能不甚了解神的心意，但神有祂的計劃和主權，上一代在曠野飄流四十年，不能進迦南；這一代的以色列人，看到以東人對自己的惡行，恨不得與以東人爭戰，但神不許可，要以色列人學習遵行神的話，順服神的權柄。

上帝對以色列人所下的命令，不可與以掃的子孫爭戰，因為這是上帝不給他們的。不可擾害摩押人，因為那地已賜羅得子孫為業。
但面對希實本王，卻是定意讓他拒絕以色列人的請求，以致滅亡。
看來，上帝定意要給你的，必定會安排，令你取得合法、合理。但不是上帝定意給你的，也會清楚地告訴你，我們也要乖乖地遵守。
願神保守我，祂不要我做的事情，我可以乖乖地遵守。而祂要我做的事情，我也一乖乖地照做，即使有困難、有誤解、有心碎…。依然知道上帝領我前行。

The Lord will be pleased if we put our efforts, exploiting our potential in our own territory. He has planned for all His people so we should not harass or contend with others. "Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, "Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you" (He 13:5). This verse is a continual reminder to me that the standards of good conducts prescribed by the Lord are out of love.

God says "I am God of your father, ……" (Ex 3:6). The Ten Commandments require God's people to "Honor your father……" (Ex 20:12). King David blesses God "O lord the God of Israel, our father..." (1 Ch 29:10).

The word "Father" is used to describe God in His relationship with the people of Israel. God as Father of Israel is thought of in terms of salvation. To me, God goes before me to show me by what way I should go, and in the cloud by day. To be His
child is a miracle of God's grace.

Jesus fasted for forty days (Mt 4:2). He emphasized that the purpose of fasting should not be to impress others or to show off. Fasting purifies one's mind so that evil won't overtake. I once tried to do fasting but failed because my mom prepared meals regularly for me. Thus, if there is family members' or companions' support, fasting will be more effective in one's pursuit of peace and restfulness.

申命記 1:31 節是這樣說的：「你們在曠野所行的路上，也曾見耶和華你們的神撫養(נָשָׂא)你們，如同人撫養兒子一般，直等你們來到這地方」。NAS 的翻譯："and in the wilderness where you saw how the LORD your God carried you, just as a man carries his son, in all the way which you have walked until you came to this place."更貼切。

此處的『撫養』(נָשָׂא [nasa', , nacah /naw•saw/] v.) 它在此的意思是孩子被抱起來（was lifted up）, 就像父親背著（carries）孩子 一直走啊，走啊,直到父子來到這個地方。 注意，這是一個很美的圖畫。父親愛孩子，看到孩子身處危險的困境，他不會身度外的. 父親一定馬上抱起孩子，將孩子背在背上，走過礦野沙漠，一步一步地走，是的，父子同行，直等到過了危險的困境，父親才會把孩子放下的。這就是(נָשָׂא)的意思。這就是我們天上的父，以前怎麽引領以色列百姓出埃及，過紅海，在礦野40 年的寫照。上帝是這樣地扶養以色列人的。

馬可福音 16：17-18節，耶穌提出一些神蹟，會隨著相信福音的人。

「神蹟」（σημεῖον），是一個中性的名詞，指記號（Sign）50次, 標誌（mark）1 次, 標記（token）1 次，奇跡;（wonder）3 次，和奇事（miracle）23次。Strong， J. The exhaustive concordance of the Bible說： 這個「神蹟」（σημεῖον），主要當記號（Sign）來看時，有三種意思。它可能指：

1）這個記號（Sign）是為人們所知的，出於這個人或事和其他的有顯著的不同。
2）這個驚人的事物（prodigy）和前兆; 跡象（portent）是一個不尋常事故,超越了自然的性質，這個兆頭很可能不久會發生。
3）這個奇跡;（wonder）或奇事（miracle）的事實是神用來證實（authenticates）這個人是祂差派的， 或 讓人們知道他們的訴求是神給的。
使徒保羅說：「這樣看來，說方言不是為信的人作證據，乃是為不信的人；作先知講道不是為不信的人作證據，乃是為信的人」（歌林多前書 14:22 節）。馬可福音 16:15 節：耶穌又對他們說：「你們往普天下去，傳福音給萬民聽」。這是主耶穌要基督徒去做的大使命---「廣傳福音」。就因為這個大使命，摩根和其他聖經學者相信，在初代教會，他們認為因為那時聖經還未完全寫成，這些神蹟，此處當記號（Sign），能幫助廣傳福音，有其必要性。這些神蹟記號（Sign），大都可在使徒行傳找到：
　　1．趕鬼（徒8：7；16：18；19：11～16）。
　　2．說新方言（徒2：4～11；10：46；19：6）。
　　3．拿蛇（徒28：5）。
　　4．喝毒物而不受害──沒有記錄在使徒行傳中。
　　5．手按病人治病（徒3：7；19：11；28：8，9）。

　　這些神蹟的目的是甚麼？希伯來書2：3～4節告訴我們：「 我們若忽略這麼大的救恩，怎能逃罪呢？這救恩起先是主親自講的，後來是聽見的人給我們證實了。 神又按自己的旨意，用神蹟、奇事和百般的異能，並聖靈的恩賜，同他們作見證」。在新約聖經完成前，人要靠使徒或其他人，證明福音的真確性。神藉神蹟奇事，並聖靈的各樣恩賜作見證，證實所傳的道。然而，馬丁路得提出：「這裏提到的神蹟，是根據需要而定。當有需要時，或是福音大受壓制，將要受毀謗和封鎖前，我們有必要行這些神蹟。」

Almost everyone looks forward to seeing miracles or signs from the Lord. However, it is more like waiting for them than praying or thinking about whether what is desired pleases Him. It is unbelief and hardness of heart that God is concerned about.

As Jesus was going to be crucified, Cyrene, Simon was forced to carry the cross. Two rebels were crucified with Him. These two rebels as well as those passers-by hurled insults at him. In the same way the chief priests and the teachers of the law mocked Him.

As He neared death, He cried out "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?" Some people who were curious about whether Elijah came to take Jesus down offered a sponge with wine vinegar to Jesus to drink.

A centurion, who stood there in front of Jesus, saw how he died, saying said, "Surely this man was the Son of God!" Some women who were in good relationship with Jesus were watching from the distance.

Thus, these verses inform us of the insulting and helpless situation Jesus suffered before He breathed His last. Those unbelievers uttered sarcastic words as meanly as they could. Christ came to purchase us from the curse that was against each of us. He endured great suffering as if one cursed by God, so we should be deeply grateful of the blessings of God.
