『這百姓喜愛妄行，不禁止腳步，所以耶和華不悅納他們。現今要記念他們的罪孽，追討他們的罪惡。』

我想上帝給了人自由意志可以任意而行，不須完全順服 神，這讓人有了一種自以為是的自由，只要我想要，有什麼不以，於是人所作的行為舉止並不能完全取悅 神。在今天的經文裡，喜愛妄行的人，他所求的禱告是不被垂聽的。

但是，在什麼情況之下上帝會垂聽人的禱告呢？

或許就像耶和華告訴以賽亞先知：『但我所看顧的，就是虛心痛悔、因我話而戰兢的人。』

但願主憐憫我，給我有一顆謙卑的心，在我向您禱告前，能真正悔悟自己的問題，而不是任憑我的問題，讓我在您的話語中敬畏您的教導，使我有機會成為您所喜悅的子女。

過年這幾天，下埔里過春節。沒帶電腦，這幾天開始寫心得。剛寫完撒母耳記中掃羅的故事，再看詩32的內容，真有意思。
大衛描述自己不認罪時，「終日唉哼，而骨頭枯乾。」耶和華的手在他身上沉重，他精液耗盡，如夏日乾旱。這種感覺真不好受，掃羅應該也是如此。為了擺脫這種感覺，掃羅選擇透過交鬼婦人找來撒母耳，或許撒母耳可以幫他向上帝說說情。而大衛呢！選擇向主陳明，不隱瞞自己的惡。因為他認定他自耶和華承認自己的過犯時，神的慈愛會赦免他的罪惡。而且還應許『我要教導你，指示你當行的路，我要定晴在你身上勸戒你。』非愚昧的愛，而是智慧教導的愛。非無理的赦免，而是挽回的赦免。

身陷錯誤的泥沼，要拔出雙腳，談何容易！
大軍來擊，求問上帝，沒有任何回應---尋求交鬼的婦人，似乎是掃羅惟一可以作的。
但，真的是這樣嗎？「人的盡頭，神的起頭。」回到神的面前，那是起頭。背對神，那是盡頭。
說都很容易，真正面對時，還真難啊！在亞瑪力人的事上，掃羅沒有聽神的話。我又何嘗乖乖地聽上帝的話？但神憐憫的本性，卻總是原諒我這個哭哭啼啼，來他面前想認錯，又說不出話來的孩子。
掃羅可憐！！真的，一個被神揀選、被聖靈充滿、在以色列中高人一等…。最後卻走上這條路…真令人婉惜。

耶穌教導吃宴會的人，要坐下座，讓主人家請去作上座，才是有智慧。
有慧根的人回應，「在神國裡吃飯的有福了。」
耶穌回應，是啊！真的有福。但是現實的情況卻是，被邀請的人，要去買地、買了牛要試試、剛娶了妻…。沒人看重這場宴場。
耶穌說，蓋樓的，哪個不先算一下能不能蓋成！打仗的，哪個不先盤算能不能打嬴！你們來跟從我，不也要先盤算一下，值不值得嗎？
吃主的宴是有福的，但你盤算嗎？為了地、為了牛、為了新婦…值得嗎？「到我這裡來，若不愛我勝過自己的父母、妻子、兒女、弟兄、姐妹、和自己的性命的，就不能作我的門徒。」「你們無論甚麼人，若不撇下一切所有的，就不能作我的門徒。」

謝謝 JBC 姐的整理，對於認罪悔改與 神的恩典，我的感覺是慈愛的天父會赦免真心認罪的人（詩 32:5），但是也會教導他走當行的路（詩 32:8），而最後他不必像被繩子勒住的驢子，可以自由自在地倘佯在耶和華的慈愛中。

這裡其實有一個備受爭議的問題，一個罪不可赦的人，一旦他向 神認罪悔改，他是不是仍得著恩典？ 神是不是便赦免了他的罪？

這讓我想起大概在十年前，一起震驚全台的白曉燕命案的主嫌，陳進興先生於受捕後一年在獄中悔改信主，並接受洗禮成為一個基督徒，隔年十月伏法槍決。在那時便有很多人對於基督教的『寬恕』是否太過廉價而有不同的看法。

我的感覺是，犯罪對於當事人及受害者都是受傷的，無論是在生理上或是心靈上都可能留下難以抹去的傷痕，主耶穌基督給了我們醫治的盼望，透過認罪悔改讓彼此都能得到上帝的恩典，解脫捆綁而得到新的生命。

感謝主，願您的慈愛能撫平每個受傷的心靈，使我作你和平之子，在憎恨之處播下你的愛；在傷痕之處播下你寬恕；在懷疑之處播下信心。在絕望之處播下你盼望；在幽暗之處播下你光明；在憂愁之處播下歡愉。在赦免時我們便蒙赦免；在捨去時我們便有所得；迎接死亡時我們便進入永生。

我是去年12月受洗的新生，很高興跟各位屬靈前輩一起學習。因為英文是我謀生的工具，再加上對英文查經事工有負擔，感謝主讓我能在這個園地裝備自己。

就要愛慕那純淨的靈奶，像才生的嬰孩愛慕奶一樣，叫你們因此漸長，以致得救。(彼前2:2)

耶和華對我說：那些先知託我的名說假預言，我並沒有打發他們，沒有吩咐他們，也沒有對他們說話...。14:14

那教導者和跟隨者都偏離了標靶(missed the target),以至於神掩耳不聽祈禱.

Though Jeremiah earnestly prayed to God for saving Jerusalem, He did not respond but prophesied death, sword, starvation, and captivity that Judah would undergo. The people there were not willing to acknowledge their wickedness and kept rejecting God. It is easy to "seem" regrettable; however, God values true repentance. "But if a wicked man turns away from all the sins he has committed and keeps all my decrees and does what is just and right, he will surely live; he will not die." (Ezekiel 18:21) So, when our prayer is not answered, think about why God withdraws His compassion. There must be room for our improvement.

之前常聽兄姐說：『人的盡頭是 神的開始。』一直覺得這句話很美，但是今天經文看到的卻是一個曾被耶和華膏立的君王，當他走投無路的時候，他求問 神， 神卻不回答他。情急之下他違背 神也違背自己訂的律法，跑去找隱多珥交鬼婦人，問不到 神只好問死去的先知 撒母耳，結果答案卻仍是耶和華要讓他戰敗而亡。

我感覺在這裡『神的開始』是 神會去完成祂對每個人的不同計畫，但是結果並不是人想要的結果。

但願主憐憫我，當事情進展不是如我所願時，請您賜智慧給我，讓我仍然遵行您的話語與教導，不要任憑我也不要隨人起舞，更不要走偏了您的道路，讓我學習全然地順服您的旨意，完成您的計畫。

電影"教會"裡最讓我震撼與感動的一幕,是當那位"前"奴隸抓拿者,揹著重擔'以贖罪的心情爬上瀑布的頂端,面對原住民,眼神充滿懊悔與懇求原諒...當原住民拿起刀來,砍斷繩索,千斤重擔墜入深淵'不再纏累這個已經悔改的人.

這就是大衛的心情,就是凡願意到主面前來認罪悔改之人的寫照吧!"願意向神認罪的人可以從神得到什麼恩典呢?" 最大的恩典,便是"不再與神隔絕",感謝讚美主!阿們!

Blessed is he whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are covered. Blessed is the man whose sin the Lord does not count against him. (Psalm 21: 1-2; Romans 4: 7-8) If we confess our sins, the Lord is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. (1 John 1:9) The Lord is gracious and compassionate. He will not turn his face from you if you return to Him. (2 Chronicles 30:9)
But we must not be like the horse or the mule, controlled by bit and bridle, or the Lord's unfailing love will not glorify us.

『邀客入宴』與『蓋樓估價』的比喻，我的感覺是前者是不計算代價，後者是先計算代價，一個是先把房子蓋好了，也住的很安穩，但是一聽到有人要請吃一頓天堂的饗宴，即使是要把房子拆了，他都還是要去。另外一個是知道要損失一棟房子才能去吃這頓天堂的饗宴，他聽到了還是決定去蓋這棟房子。在今天的經文裡，這兩者應該都可以參加這場盛宴吧。

這裡的故事讓我反省自己是否真的已經想清楚了自己的信仰。

但願主能憐憫我，在軟弱時給我力量，在失去之中仍能得到您的恩典，讓我能更明白您的計畫，歡歡喜喜地享受您所預備的這場饗宴。

這段經文,聽過不同的說法,似乎多認為這個被招喚上來的撒母耳是"真"的,這可能要請牧師解惑...

還有,"這"個撒母耳為什麼說,明日掃羅及其眾子都要和他同在一處了呢?雖然是有應驗,但死後的掃羅和撒母耳是去到同一處嗎?那麼,意思是掃羅也有"得救"嗎?

看到這個被神"不理睬"的掃羅,覺得他好可憐"何至於此"?真是一步錯,步步錯.求神憐憫我'提醒我的過犯,賜我認錯的勇氣,幫助我"及時"的改正.阿們!

Saul had expelled the mediums and spiritists from the land. Yet, when he was terrified by the army of the Philistines, he turned to the witch of Endor because he did not receive any answer from God. God then revealed Saul's miserable destiny through the medium of the witch.
This reminds me to reflect on whether I have fulfilled my responsibilities before I see the vision. God might turn away from me if I do not solely look up to Him but turn to other means of fortune telling, which is absolutely forbidden.

過年，在中國傳統裡是一個很重要的節日，但是大概很少人會問自己為什麼要過年？或是過完年對自己有什麼意義？

今天的題目也是蠻有意思的，尤其是在過年的正月來想這個問題：『逾越節對基督徒有什麼屬靈的意義呢？』

照今天的經文，逾越節也是發生在正月，就如同過年般讓人有種萬象更新的感覺，我想對那些之前是埃及奴隸的以色列人，或許感受更深吧。然而，想想自己受洗後真的有讓我成為一個新造的人嗎？有感受到解脫與自由嗎？還是像ㄧ些以色列人仍懷念在埃及當奴隸的日子呢？

在逾越節有一個重要的記號，羔羊的血記，這是主耶穌救恩的預表，反省自己受洗後的這一年半，我覺得我並不是常紀念這樣的記號，雖然口裡會感謝主，但是心裡總是沒有那種得救的深刻感受，更何況這記號仍沒能劃在家門讓其他家人也得救，這實在讓我有點慚愧。

另外，逾越節也規定不能吃有酵之餅，發酵所代表的是犯罪，就如同主耶穌對那犯淫婦人的期許：『去吧，從此不要再犯罪了！』對我來說，這真的要時常禱告，求主保守我的心思意念。

親愛的天父阿爸，逾越節是記念您的逾越節，在這裡請您憐憫我，讓我能除去不好的習慣，在許多事情上能有新的開始，也能看到自己的改變，讓我每分每秒都感謝您的救贖，也同樣請您將這樣的恩典帶給我的家人，並藉由您的教導引領我走您的道路，救我脫離兇惡，在黑暗中仍看到您的榮光，直到永遠。

Anyone who wants to build a tower should first sit down and estimate the cost to see if he is able to complete it or not. Otherwise, after the foundation has been laid but the project cannot move on, he will be ridiculed. Similarly, whoever does not estimate the cost of being a disciple of God will easily be influenced by the worldly value.
The parable seems to tell us before we are to accept the invitation to the feast in the kingdom of God, we should repress our desire to take control over our lives. This way, we can receive from Him anything we ask because we obey His commands and do what pleases Him.

1.那是一個分別出得救與否的日子--讀這段聖經,彷彿回到那個"耶和華巡行'擊殺埃及人"的夜晚
2.門楣上是用鮮血所做的記號--預表耶穌是我們的贖罪祭
3.所用犧牲必須是完美無殘疾的羔羊--唯有神的獨生愛子是無瑕疵'玷汙
4.那是一個準備脫離舊有'前進未來的夜晚--"以色列人從蘭塞起行，往疏割去；除了婦人孩子，步行的男人約有六十萬。"12:37
...

看到,"正滿了四百三十年的那一天，耶和華的軍隊都從埃及地出來了。"12:41 這群前一天還是奴隸身分,如今扛著鍋碗瓢盆'細軟及黃金的群眾,被稱為"耶和華的軍隊"...神的選民何其有幸,能夠脫離為奴的身分,走向神所應許之地,而且是神親自領軍.逾越節便是紀念"神的拯救".

The Passover was to commemorate the night when the LORD brought HIS divisions to leave Egypt. It is a festival for the generations to come to honor the LORD. The blood of the sheep or the goats was shed on the top and on both sides of the doorframe as a sign to be passed over.
To me, it is like the salvation by Jesus Christ for our sins. The LORD will save us from plagues so long as we regard HIM as our savior. HE reminded Israelite people to eat unleavened bread and roasted lambs along with bitter herbs. Did HE attempt to prepare them for the upcoming hasty journey? That's probably part of God's plan.
What's God's plan for me? It requires patience and wisdom to unveil the myth. This is indeed beyond my capability…

Yeah, there were many such contrasting experiences in our faith pilgrims. We would all prefer to enjoy the more comfortable and safe and peaceful experiences. We would like to ask God to remove all cups of troubles, failures, hard times out from our path of life.
Then our lives would be devoid of the depth and beauty of a pictures. A beautiful picture would need bright and brilliant colors to decorate it, but the beautiful scenery would also need the dark shadow to contrast against thos brilliant patches...

Another paradoxes of human lives. We would need regulation to keep order in our lives. But our life situations would have so many factors that would interfere us to follow the regulations strictly. Then we would need true wisdom to discern when and how to make exception and allowance. That might be the wisdom of life.

Dear all, Peng An,
Yeah, the theology of predestination and the theology of absolute sovereignty of God would conflict with the theology of human freedom of will. Personally I thought this might be one of the paradoxes or controversies that we might need to wait until we face our Lord, when we could ask him and learn from him directly. ( Ref. 1 Cor.13:12)

Dear JBC, Peng An,
Yeah, this kind of love is the Hesed Love of God. The meanings and nuances of this Hebrew word, Hesed, was so rich and full, that it was very difficult to find one English word to carry all those meanings. Some would say, steadfast love, some would say, loving kindness, or loyal love, or covenant love.

Dear Mou, Peng An,
Thank you very much for sharing the story of Ghandi's grandson ALang with all of us. That was a special expression of the parental love toward his/her children.
Personally, I thought the cross showed to us such kind of love from our heavenly father toward us. Isaiah said,
"But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed." (Isaiah 53:5)

Dear Yuze, Peng An,
Yeah, I had personally tried that when my children were young. But I knew there were many difficult decisions parents must make if they would like to try such discipline method to rear their children. Thanks for your sharing.

We missed LLH today. Hopefully she would join us later on.
One thing have I asked of Jehovah, that will I seek after; That I may dwell in the house of Jehovah all the days of my life, To behold the beauty of Jehovah, And to inquire in his temple. (Psalm 27:4)
What a beautiful prayer! What a wonderful petition, not to have material blessings showered on him from God, but to draw near to God's presence to enjoy his magnificence, and to dialgue with God, to learn from God, all the days of his life.
Lord, please make the prayer my own.

Dear All, Peng An,
Very interesting sharing and discussions among us in the cyberspace.
The same story might have different hermeneutic interpretations. As long as we knew that what we were doing were just our personal hermeneutic interpretations, and we would not treat them as absolute or only interpretation, then it would be fine. We oculd also develop the capacity to enjoy and to learn from the interpretations of other hermeneutic approaches.
Personally, I thought that before we did ouw hermeneutic, we might need to try our best to understand the cultural and literal contexts. So What Napal, and Abigai and David were doing might be just normal in David's day.
The important thing was that God allowed such stories to be recorded in the Bible, God must have some purpose for us to learn from these stories. We saw the self sufficiency and arrogance of Napal. We saw the desparateness and impulsion of David. We also saw the wisdom and crisis handling capability of Abigai.

Possession was a very intriguing and interesting human phenomenon.
John Ruskin once told such a story, that one man boarded a ship carrying his entire wealth in a large bag of gold coins. A terrible storm came up a few days into the voyage and the alarm went off to abandon ship. Strapping the bag around his waist, the man went up on deck, jumped overboard, and promptly sank to the bottom of the sea. So asks Ruskin: "Now, as he was sinking, had he the gold? Or had the gold him?"
A man possesses a possession.
Then gradually the possession possesses the man. When did that transition of ownership happened is a very interesting question that all of us would like to meditate. When you own some precious possession, then you are hte owner of the possession. When you are preoccupied by the possession to the exclusion of all other relationships or engagements, then you are possessed by your possession. You are no more master of the possession, but you become the slave of your possession.

Dear All,
This was the Lunar Year Eve Night, I trusted that all of us were enjoying the family reunion banquet and fellowship time.
The sovereignty of God and the freedom of man played out beautifully in the historical exodus event. If we believed that God did grant humanity true freedom of will, as revealed in Genesis chapter 2, symbolized in that tree of the knowledge of goodness and evil, then God would not deprive it from any human, including Pharaoh of Egypt. This kind of respect of the autonomy of human free will would seemed to curtail and limit the sovereignty of God to control the course of hte universe.
Thus, how God could still rule this world efficiently with the autonomy of angels and humans would be a mistery to all of us...

今天就是除夕了，下午得帶著老婆小孩回父親家裡吃團圓飯，早上便沒能到教會和各位兄姐拜年，所以想在這裡先和大家拜年，祝福大家新年快樂，並分享一篇我很喜歡的禱告辭，這是保羅對歌羅西教會的禱告（西 1:9-14），我覺得也很適合給俱樂部的每位兄姐，讓我們互相代禱。

『因此，我們自從聽見的日子，也就為你們不住的禱告祈求，願你們在一切屬靈的智慧悟性上，滿心知道神的旨意；
好叫你們行事為人對得起主，凡事蒙他喜悅，在一切善事上結果子，漸漸的多知道神；照他榮耀的權能，得以在各樣的力上加力，好叫你們凡事歡歡喜喜的忍耐寬容；又感謝父，叫我們能與眾聖徒在光明中同得基業。
他救了我們脫離黑暗的權勢，把我們遷到他愛子的國裡；我們在愛子裡得蒙救贖，罪過得以赦免。』

草戊尚土 牧師和各位俱樂部的兄姐，平安：

這兩天放假陪同老婆來個年終大掃除，發現自己買了不少書本放在床頭，隔了快一年都沒翻過，書本都是灰塵，有些書皮還會泛黃，想說是不是要丟到資源回收區，但是想想當初會選這本書，也是很想看看裡面的內容，只是沒時間去讀，便擱置了好久，最後就忘了有這本書了。

沒時間？這句話常變成我懶惰的藉口。

回到今天經文的那條麻布腰帶，如果是每天帶著常常清洗或許不會腐壞，但是就像是那些被我遺忘的書，把那腰帶放到山洞裡，久了不去管它，它便會自然變壞而毫無用處。

但願主憐憫我，在生活中仍能時時與您親近，不管是在順遂的時候，或是遇到挫折，請您不要將我擱置不管，不要讓我任意而行，走向腐壞而變成無用，請讓我樂於親近您，領受您的教導，引我走正路。

腰帶---未過水，表原始、聖潔，屬神。
選腰帶而不是帽子、領巾，因為腰帶天天要用，而且貼身。
貼近神，每天像腰帶貼近神。離了神，在土裡，只有腐爛朽壞。
