We are sinned but by Christ's physical body through death to present us holy in His sight, without blemish and free from accusation, He has reconciled us. Therefore, we should not make ourselves unclean. Just because this is not easy, the Lord would like Moses to teach the Israelites in detail. The priest should draw near to the altar, and offer his sin offering and burnt offering, and make atonement for himself and for the people; and bring the offering of the people, and make atonement for them; as the LORD has commanded.

作祭司的準備工作是什麼？ 利未記八章和九1～7節清楚地告訴我們：摩西照耶和華所吩咐當行的事，召亞倫和他兒子來，用水洗了他們。膏立了他們為祭司，但亞倫和他兒子還沒有執行其祭司職務，一連七天，每天獻上贖罪祭，燔祭和搖祭作為承接聖職獻給耶和華馨香的火祭，在這七天內亞倫和他兒子不可出會幕的門，等到他們承接聖職的日子滿了，目的是要為他們贖罪，這是主要他們七天承接聖職，一直到第八日才開始執行祭司任務。祭司承接聖職的準備工夫很嚴謹，要用水洗潔淨，住在會幕內，獻上耶和華馨香的火祭,七天內不可隨意出道會幕外，沾沾污穢，準備心靈來承接祭司職分。可見神選召祂的人（牧者/傳道）的原則，必須先認罪，自潔，獻上身體當上活祭，有了的充足心靈和恩賜的準備，才投入教會/宣教禾場服事。

作祭司的職務是什麼？ 摩西對亞倫說：「你就近壇前，獻你的贖罪祭和燔祭，為自己與百姓贖罪，又獻上百姓的供物，為他們贖罪，都照耶和華所吩咐的。」（利未記九章7～21）上帝要受膏的亞倫和他兒子承受祭司職分後，必須先為自己獻上贖罪祭和燔祭，再為百姓獻上贖罪祭、燔祭（16）、素祭（17）和平安祭（18）等作為他們將來所要履行的職分，引導百姓知罪悔改，忠心地成為聖潔君尊的祭司，完全歸於耶和華作祭司的國度，為聖潔的國民。同樣地,蒙神選召的人（牧者/傳道）也要謹慎，必須先反省，認罪，自潔，過聖潔生活委身予主，才能談事奉。進而引導弟兄姐妹們知罪悔改，獻上身體當上活祭，以生命去見證神，將神的恩典與別人分享。

記住耶和華是以色列人的神；因為耶和華是聖潔的，所以祂要求以色列人也比須要成為聖潔，不可因吃在地上的爬物，吃四隻腳倒嚼不分蹄的，吃了這些不潔的動物或吃了在水裡無翅無鱗的魚，會導致以色列人被污染，成為不潔淨。潔淨的，不潔淨的要分別出來。可見當耶和華帶領以色列人出埃及，祂頒佈的這個「食物律法」時，1445BC左右（3455年前），從今天的醫學角度來看，很符合健康的原則。高膽固醇，高脂肪的食物不宜食用。真的不可思議！上帝的作為，太奇妙了！祂是全知，全能，全有的上帝！

當然，今天我們蒙召的人，生活上要聖潔，在一切所行的事上也要聖潔。因為上帝是聖潔的。我很喜愛大衛的詩。「耶和華啊，誰能寄居你的帳幕？誰能住在你的聖山？就是行為正直、做事公義、心裡說實話的人（詩篇 15:1-2）」。求主幫助我們做個討主喜悅的人。

耶和華我們神喜悅亞倫的獻祭，因為亞倫照著耶和華所吩咐摩西的（命令）去作。

同樣地，耶和華我們神喜悅我們的事奉和敬拜，每天依靠真理的聖靈，遵守祂的話，祂的命令去行，祂必與我們同在。希望我們大家在生活中，自潔，脫離卑賤的事，依靠祂，經歷祂，就必作貴重的器皿，成為聖潔，合乎主用，預備行各樣的善事（提摩太後書 2:21）。

Therefore, do not add to what He commands us and do not subtract from it, but keep His commands (De 4:2). After becoming priests, they must offer sacrifices for themselves and believers. Let anyone can recognize and correct their guilty. Further, they can witness grace from Him and then spread it.

以色列人為何需要祭司？主要是耶和華與以色列人立「西乃之約」的關係（參出19:1-6)。這是一個特別的雙向關係的「約」。在祂帶領以色列人出埃及來到西乃的曠野時，祂要祂的子民知道全地都屬祂的，祂要他們歸屬祂，作祂的子民，作聖潔的國民。此時，耶和華要訓練那些屬祂的子民，就像老鷹訓練小鷹一樣。離開鳥巢（舒適區- comfort zone），老鷹將小鷹背在翅膀上，訓練他們飛翔一樣。耶和華，以色列人的上帝，滿有恩惠，能力和慈愛， 祂的目的是要他們（神所撿選的以色列百姓），在那無依無靠的環境下， 學習聽從祂的話，過聖潔的生活，遵守耶和華與以色列人所定的「約」，不拜外邦人的偶像，所作所為與外邦人不同。使得整個以色列國成為一個神聖的, 聖潔的國家，與其他（外邦人）的國家不同，分別出來，完完全全地在萬民中作屬上帝的子民，整個國家是一個聖潔的，屬上帝的國家。

The Lord told Moses that he will be for Him a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.
A high priest is one who is holy, blameless, pure, set apart from sinners, exalted above the heavens. He sacrificed for their sins once for all when he offered himself. (Heb 7: 26-27).

Moses poured some of the anointing oil on Aaron's head, and anointed him, to consecrate him. This symbolizes that we are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, and God's special possession (1Pe 2:9).

Religious act in the Old Testament was complete accompanied with sacrifice. The system was designed by God with the intention of awakening our consciousness of sin and uncleanness. We are informed of the possibility of obtaining the forgiveness of sin and becoming righteous before God.

If we want to be like Jesus, we should do and say the same things as He does (1Pe 2:21). These sacrificial Laws are just as important in the Law of Moses as any other law. Thus, we ought to allow the fulfillment of them in our lives.
