我覺得上帝是最偉大的編劇!摩西成長的每一個階段,都有神的"設計",為要裝備'訓練摩西.
在皇宮長大,讓摩西不懼怕面對君王'具備各種統御所需知識;在曠野牧羊,讓摩西不再驕傲'耐心倍增...
可以想像,年輕力壯想以"拳頭"拯救以色列民的摩西,馬上去帶領以色列民出埃及的話,恐怕走不到半路,就會被摩西處死殆盡.但牧羊之後的摩西,應該是充滿了耐心,且真正的謙卑!

謝謝您提供的資料。
我也認同『This was to test the relationship between human and God』這樣的想法。只是有時會想知道，上帝這麼吩咐，有什麼其他的原因嗎？也想，如果有人問我這個問題時，我如何回應？所以會想聽聽別人的說法。寫意見同時，我又想到…
1、或許是因為亞當那時不吃肉，所以上帝就沒有告訴他什麼是潔淨、什麼是不潔淨。而挪亞時，上帝說凡活著的動物都可以作食物，所以就要提醒潔淨、不潔淨。
2、也或許聖經上沒有記載，並不表示上帝未將這事告訴亞當，也許有說。不然，挪亞帶動物進方舟時，又如知道何為潔淨、何為不潔淨。
3、也或許，是因為撰寫聖經人的問題。因為創6:19說凡有血肉的活物每樣兩個，一公一母。而創7:2卻說凡潔淨的畜類你要帶七公七母、不潔淨的畜類你要帶一公一母。這潔淨、不潔淨的字，或許是後人有這種觀念，認為在這裡，需要針對帶進方舟的動物，再寫更清楚些！

論到人的行為，我藉著你嘴唇的言語自己謹守，不行強暴人的道路。

欺壓他的人：
他們的心被脂油包裹。
他們用口說驕傲的話。

我的感覺是這兩者之間的不同便只有是否與主同行，如果大衛沒能遵行 神的道路，他大概也會像欺壓他的人一樣吧，內心被許多物質慾望捆綁，嘴裡說出的話都是驕傲自大。但是要真的時時與主同行卻是實在很不容易，因為稍有不慎，那欺壓的人或迫使你離開正道，他們隨時在暗地裡等著機會吃掉你。
但願主仍憐憫我，知道我常常會被外界誘惑，求您保護我，如同保護眼中的瞳人，將我隱藏在你翅膀的蔭下，使我脫離那欺壓我的惡人，就是圍困我要害我命的仇敵。 讓我常在您的殿中，經歷您的慈愛讚美您的榮美。

So like God would demarcated one tree among all the trees in the garden of Eden and designated that tree as forbidden tree. This was to test the relationship between human and God. The nature of that tree might not necessarily be changed to be toxic to human health.... This was just my personal opinion.

關於以利押，我想他是外表壯碩看起來很有領袖感覺的人，因為撒母耳第一次見到他，他便誤以為以利押就是上帝要揀選的人選，但是耶和華卻對撒母耳說：『不要看他的外貌和他身材高大、我不揀選他、因為耶和華不像人看人、人是看外貌、耶和華是看內心。』
然而大衛呢？在他父親耶西的心中他是最小的，負責放羊。所以當以利押聽到大衛來到戰場試圖想 PK 歌利亞，對以利押來說，那簡直是做小弟的瞧不起做大哥的，因為大哥我長得那麼高大還都躲在這裡不敢出去，而你這小弟竟然還想跑出來對決，那不是沒有把大哥放在眼裡，況且你做小弟的就是去外面好好放羊，還跑來這湊熱鬧幹什麼？但是大衛明白自己被神賦與的使命，就告訴他大哥：『我來這裡難道是無緣無故來的嗎？』
我想當一個人被 神呼召時， 神會讓他明白他所要做的事情都是有意義的，並非沒有任何緣故，或許這些事情在別人眼裡是不可能的事，因為我做都做不好，你怎麼能做的好？但是 神卻給他同在的信心，因著信完成上帝的計畫。
親愛的主，但願您憐憫我，醫治我的軟弱，讓我在許多事情上都能有與您同在的信心，堅信您的道路，讓我不因嘲諷而放棄您的計畫。

這段聖經給了我一個提醒,就是耶穌說的:在後的要在前.
在以利押的眼中,大衛還是那個老么,或許他不知道大衛曾在牧羊時遭遇過獅子和熊等猛獸,在他眼中大衛的看法仍是幼稚的.
有時候我們會用這種眼光看剛信主的人,或是我們的孩子,殊不知,他們的心,因為單純反而更貼近天父.
撒母耳的部分,還是很有趣,服侍神那麼久的撒母耳,還是有"以貌取人"的弱點,以至於神提醒他,神看的是內心.
我倒是很羨慕,撒母耳與神之間的親密,以色列人吵著要王的時候,神安慰撒母耳"他們是厭棄我,不是你";撒母耳仍為掃羅傷心的時候,神告訴他"你要悲傷到幾時呢?該上工了".
每次讀舊約時,都很羨慕這些神的僕人,能夠這樣貼近神,知道神的心意,和神對話.

這段兄弟的對話，出現在這裡，很特別。這一章在描述著歌利亞叫陣，以色列營中無人敢應戰。但卻在其中，記下這段兄弟對話。長兄以利押責備大衛，若是為了愛護弟弟，不願他身陷險境，或是因為常覺得大衛愛出風頭，所以加以責備。這樣寫完他責備大衛的話，就可以結束了。可是卻又寫下大衛回嘴的內容，好像要顯示哥哥的責備沒有理由。且像是出於嫉妒、輕蔑的心，表現出來的是，『這種打戰的事情，你這個孩子懂什麼？大人講話，囡仔人有耳無嘴。你看什麼熱鬧，回去顧羊吧！』

『凡婦人所生的，沒有一個大過約翰的，然而神國裏最小的，比他還大。』
其實我也不是很了解這句話在神學裡所代表的意義，所以請教了谷哥，他說這表示約翰在人與神關係中所扮演一個轉捩點的角色，在他之前的人，不管是亞伯拉罕、雅各或是其他許多先知，都沒有親眼見過主耶穌基督，而在他之後的人，卻因耶穌基督的救贖而與主同在。
主耶穌看重我們與祂的關係，如果我們與主的關係只是表面上的認識，那種關係是不如時時刻刻與主同行的關係。
感謝主，因您的降臨讓世人的生命改變，讓我在主後的兩千零七年能認識您，讓我與神的關係和好，讓我感受與您同在的恩典。

從聖經上看來，雖然掃羅的命令看來是不通人情的，但已立下的誓言，就需遵守。因為有人違背，所以他們求問神，上帝不回應。如果說這是軍事命令，沒有遵守就會處死，而約拿單沒有遵守，就該處死(照聖經上所載，是如此發展，幸而被百姓所救)。這樣，又該如何看待在二次大戰中，殺以色列人的德國士兵？他們入伍就已宣誓效忠。而軍事命令是如此殘酷？而我們看見事情的發展是這些士兵也有罪，良心上的罪？有點想不通！！
掌權者的命令、上帝的命令，有些時候上帝的命令(心意)並不是如此清楚！一直不懂，為什麼約拿單作的是一個人之常情的事，也是比較客觀、合理的判斷，卻因著掃羅的誓言，要被處死，而這還是請示上帝、製籤出來的結果？不解！

從聖經上看來，雖然掃羅的命令看來是不通人情的，但已立下的誓言，就需遵守。因為有人違背，所以他們求問神，上帝不回應。如果說這是軍事命令，沒有遵守就會處死，而約拿單沒有遵守，就該處死(照聖經上所載，是如此發展，幸而被百姓所救)。這樣，又該如何看待在二次大戰中，殺以色列人的德國士兵？他們入伍就已宣誓效忠。而軍事命令是如此殘酷？而我們看見事情的發展是這些士兵也有罪，良心上的罪？有點想不通！！
掌權者的命令、上帝的命令，有些時候上帝的命令(心意)並不是如此清楚！一直不懂，為什麼約拿單作的是一個人之常情的事，也是比較客觀、合理的判斷，卻因著掃羅的誓言，要被處死，而這還是請示上帝、製籤出來的結果？不解！

摩西的成長應該是在埃及王宮裡面吧，我想畢竟他也算是一個埃及王子，總是少不了一些特權及優越感，但是比較有意思的是他的養母，也就是法老的女兒，她應該知道摩西是以色列人，將來可能還是難免會有認同的問題，就像是一個有錢的美國人認養了一個貧窮的中國小孩，當那小孩漸漸長大，他會發現自己和別人不一樣，他也會知道他不是現在的父母所生的小孩，他會怎麼去接受這些事實？他會不會抱怨上帝給他這樣的安排呢？他又要如何面對自己親生父母與養父母呢？
我想上帝給了每個人不同的計畫，當摩西在埃及王室中成長，又知道自己是以色列人時，他應該會有更包容的心去面對不同種族的人，或許也是上帝要成就他的預備，這也讓我想到美國的新任總統歐巴馬。
但願主給我更寬容的心去接受不同的人，讓我學會謙卑，不為自己所擁有的而驕傲，讓我學會真正的彼此相愛，而不是選擇性的相愛。

Great sharing of this Mattress Fellowship. But for me, the mattress was what we used to help us survive with our weakness. Mattress was not our weakness, but paraplegia was our weakness. Mattress was what we could find to help us continue to live with our weakness. Yet the paraplegic was so fortunate to have such friendship that they would dare to risk their security and pay financial price to bring him to the front of Jesus.

But there would be other associating signs and phenomena to help us do the differential diagnosis.

This was the strategic critical point in the history of Israel nation. They would change from charismatic political, religious, and military leadership of judges into a more systematic, hierarchical, and differential leadership of kingship.
They would like to emulate the system of those countries surrounding them. Should Christian learn from non-Christians?

This was a very interesting inauguration sermon delievered by Jesus at the synagogue of Nazareth.
People loved to hear what they would love to hear. People usually responded with anger and rejection against what they would not like to accept.
So when Jesus talked about the good news of grace and mercy, people would respond with praise and happiness.
But when Jesus mentioned about God's mercy showered to outcase people, and skipped chose ones, people responded with hatred and even became murderous.
Jesus's first message consisted of both promise of blessing as well as warning of judgment.
Let's learn to listen carefully to both kinds of message with gratitude and repentance.

Very interesting that you compare the life of Saul with that of David.

Very interesting that the three of you all did some comparison, yet the three of you did different kinds of comparisons. Since all of us were parents, thus I thought we could try to empathize the feeling of Mary when she heard such prophecies from the old pious Simeon.
All parents would pray that their child would enjoy a life that was full of God's blessing and protection. Yet the reality often didn't follow such wish. I thought it a blessing for every patent to be ignorant of what would happen to their beloved child when the child was very young. The parents could live with many rosy dreams for their child's future.

我覺得有可能是耶和華所說：『我的百姓愚頑，不認識我。他們是愚昧無知的兒女，有智慧行惡，沒有智慧行善。』
其實想想要能真正認識耶和華好像不是那麼容易，記得蔡牧師好像有說過，認識也有不同的層次，剛開始可能只是知道這個名字，然後可能又從別人身上多一些認識，加上自己也有不同的認識，最後才有委身信任的關係。
我自己對神的認識真的很膚淺，所以想從閱讀聖經中先了解一些，再從弟兄姊妹和牧師身上多了解一些，但願主能憐憫我，在我並不是那麼認識您時，仍給我智慧在每一天的做人處事上，讓我的作為是在行善而非行惡。

If I would like to use one word to describe the evils of the Israelite people, it would "idolatry".
Often we would think that idolatry was committed by those gentiles who worshipped idols made by human hands. But I believed the wrost idols would be those who lived in our hearts, created by our hearts, and tyrannized our daily life. That which occupied the top position in our value system would be our idol, and Christians would commit such evil in the same way as all other people.

I enjoyed reading your comments and responses very much. God did grant each and every one of you some kind of holy imagination.
We often fell into the trap of evaluating one's piety by his surrounding happenings. If someone enjoyed great success, then we would be tempted to say that he must be pleased by God. If someone suffered from dismay or failure, then we would be tended to think that he must have done something affronting God. Kinds of 以成敗論英雄

Yeah, leadership issue was a very interesting human phenomena. We all would like to have good leaders to lead us, to protect and to provide for us. The price to enjoy such leadership was that we would need to submit to our leader's will, to obey his order, and to support his sustenance.
I like what Yuze shared here. For all Christians seemed to have two citizenships, one in the earth and the other in heaven. How to handle the relationship and interaction between these two citizenships would be a very inspiring challenge to all of us.

Here are two stories about the miraculous births of two cousins. The older one would be the herald of the younger one. Both would die a martyr death.
Here angels were sent to announce the good news of their births to the father of the first child, as well as the mother of the second child. Both of them responded with wonder and querry, yet the angels treat their querry differently.

From hearsay to eyesee was quite an experience. Jesus had once tested his students with these pair of questions: Who did people say I am? to be followed by Who did you say I am? That was from hearsay to eyesee. Our faith must learn to progress from second hand information hearsay to first hand life experience of eyesee.

Throwing a coin was using chance as a way to discern the will of God. Yet the Philistines were using something very interesting. They would like to make sure that some supernatural power was involved in all these disasters happening after they caught the ark of the covent from the Israelite people. So that design a way to use the natural love of a cow to her newborn baby to help them discern their concern and questions. Creative and wise.

Faith was a very interesting thing. We prayed because we believed that our God would listen and respond to our prayers. Yet at the same our mind was still under the control of our past experience and worldview. Long time no see with all of you here. Somehow recently I could not find time to enjoy interacting with your meditations.
Joseph must have lots of thoughts racing through his mind when he saw his brothers came to him. Somehow he learned to be very careful this time, not as innocent as before. Joseph might learn this painful life lesson through so many years of suffering and pain.
