"Who are you to judge someone else's servant? To their own master, servants stand or fall" (Ro 14:4). This verse is striking since it is easier to judge others than to reflect upon ourselves. We have no right to judge the Lord's servants--our brothers and sisters.

In addition, each of them should be fully convinced in our own mind, so that we won't be weak in our faith and be subjected to negative influence. Mutual understanding is based on respect and acceptance, which cannot be achieved without love. This is a life-long lesson that we have to learn.

Paul specifically points out about who is to be in subjection to the authorities: everyone! Often there are those who feel that they are above the law. Yet there is no authority except from God. This implies that God has granted and allows the government's authority to exist. Thus we Christians should obey the authorities but we can also supervise how they govern.

Paul also mentions the consequences of disobeying the law. In this life, there are many who commit crimes and get away with it. However, no one will escape the final judgment. Those who have lived a life of lawlessness will incur punishment.

羅馬書 14:1 「信心軟弱的，你們要接納，但不要辯論所疑惑的事」。羅馬書14:3 「吃的人不可輕看不吃的人；不吃的人不可論斷吃的人；因為神已經收納他了」。這兩處經文都提到「接納」（προσλαμβάνω）這個字。它原文的意思是指to take to or with oneself in one's company ；To receive to oneself, admit to one's society and fellowship, receive and treat with kindness。可見它有「完全接受」即使他的缺點，也要「包容」。
為主傳福音的緣故，保羅坐監時，也寫信給腓利門, 為保羅在捆鎖中所生的兒子「阿尼西母」求情，希望腓利門能「接納」，這個從前與腓利門沒有益處，但如今與腓利門和保羅都有益處的「阿尼西母」 (腓利門書) 。是的，羅馬書 14: 3節告訴我們不可論斷人，因為上帝已經收納他了。信心軟弱的，你們要「接納」，但不要辯論所疑惑的事。羅馬書 14:6 也告訴我們：「守日的人是為主守的；吃的人是為主吃的，因他感謝神；不吃的人是為主不吃的，也感謝神」。羅馬書 14:8 ：「我們若活著，是為主而活；若死了，是為主而死。所以，我們或活或死總是主的人」。所以，我們每天的生活，都是為主而活的，不是為自己。

感謝上帝！祂是主，主掌權； 我們活著是「為主而活」；因為上帝已經收納軟弱的弟兄了，我們當「彼此接納」、效法基督、彼此同心、來榮耀上帝！在因信稱義的生活中，以愛來實踐，不可彼此論斷，要彼此堅固，叫鄰舍喜悅。因上帝的信實，憑信心來到祂面前，藉著聖靈的內住，持守地相信耶穌基督，恩典的救贖，生活中大有喜樂、充滿平安和盼望。

順服掌權者的理由：因為在上掌權的是神所設立的，所以基督徒要順服在上掌權的，服從政府的權柄。因為一切權柄是出於神(1節)， 掌權的是除暴安良、為受屈者伸冤的(3~4節)；順服在上掌權的是與我們『有益的』(4節) 。彼得前書 2:13~15 :「你們為主的緣故，要順服人的一切制度，或是在上的君王, 或是君王所派罰惡賞善的臣宰。因為神的旨意原是要你們行善」。」順服在上掌權的，向政府納稅，這些都是人對政府應有的責任；這些是該撒的物，就應當歸給該撒（可12：17）。

順服政府的法令而生活，就是在上帝的旨意中生活，除非政府的法令違背正義與違背我們的信仰，使我們背叛 上帝的命令時，我們就只好『順從 上帝不順從人』了(徒5：29)。如果在上掌權的施政錯誤，基督徒要『代禱』(提前二1~2)、『不可違法』、基督徒不可以暴力、破壞性的反抗在上掌權的、但要『積極的活出信仰』(彼前四14~16)，在生活中來榮耀上帝。

Lord gives us different graces depending on our confidence, and we must try to cooperate with other people to serve Him.

And then, I need to remind myself to follow theses rules.
Judge myself according to the amount of faith that Lord has given me.
Let my hope keep me joyful, be patient in my troubles, and pray at all times.
Don't be proud, but accept humble duties. Don't think of myself as wise.
Don't take revenge for myself, but instead let Lord's anger do it.

「合一的多元」也可以運用在夫妻關係上嗎?我的男友說，結婚後，夫妻合為一體就應該同心協力一起做一件事，所以希望我把工作辭掉，協助他做他想做的事，就像牧師和牧師娘一樣。

如果上帝對不同的人有不同的恩賜，是否該讓每一個人發揮自己從上帝從得的才能，才是最符合上帝的期待?而不是把自己的才能放在一邊，全力協助另一半?如果這是對的，很多牧師娘是否沒有讓自己原有的長才有所發揮?

Paul asked Christians to offer their bodies as a living sacrifice by not conforming to the pattern of this world but by being transformed by the renewing of mind. Besides, when we serve, we should consider what their gifts are and undertake every task in a humble and cheerful way.

In our daily life, we cannot take revenge, but leave room for God's wrath. God says, "It is mine to avenge; I will repay" (Ro 12:19). This verse is soothing and lets us know that God emphasizes peace and love in action.

在此使徒保羅用橄欖與野橄欖之比喻，新枝喻表外邦人，不可誇口(羅馬書11: 16~22節)；舊枝喻表以色列人仍可能被接上橄欖樹(羅馬書11: 23~24節)。這段經文說明外邦人得救與猶太人得救之關系。這比喻主要是要警告外邦人不可驕傲，免得被丟棄。「橄欖」指猶太人，「野橄欖」指外邦人。「橄欖樹 或 橄欖根」指 神所應許的基督。神在基督裡所賜救恩就是橄欖根的肥汁。基督的救恩是先賜給猶太人的，但因猶太人的不信，就像枝子被折下來，失去了可享受從橄欖根所供給的肥汁，即失去神所應許亞伯拉罕的話關乎基督救恩的應許（加拉太書3：16)。但外邦人卻因此像野橄欖的枝子一般地被接上去了。他們得著了藉著信而接受救恩的機會，成為亞伯拉罕信心的子孫一樣「同蒙應許」(弗3：6)，又因信可享受那藉基督而得著的"肥汁"。在此處，枝子的被接上或被折下，不是指個別信徒的得救與滅亡， 而是指猶太民族與外邦人說的。

感謝上帝，我們這蒙恩的信徒是藉著信進入耶穌基督，與基督同死(切割)、同活(長在一起)，而與信主的以色列人列祖(橄欖根)，一同有分於肥汁(基督)，就是神在基督裏面那測不透的豐富(弗三8)。如今，我們所有的信徒(包括以色列人和外邦人)都是那棵真葡萄樹上的枝子(約15：1，5)，享受基督作我們生命的供應。今天我們身為枝子的， 我們存活的目的，乃是為著結果子；凡不結果子的枝子，就要被剪去(約15：2； 22節)。所以我們應當住在基督裏面(約15：4~5)，好好享受樹根的肥汁。就像羅11：16節所說：所獻的新麵若是聖潔，全團也就聖潔了；樹根若是聖潔，樹枝也就聖潔了。可見上帝要我們每天過聖潔的生活，來享受基督的豐富，來榮耀上帝。

The olive tree represents the relationship between Lords and human.
We must not despise those who were broken off like branches. How can we be proud? We are just a branch; we don't support the roots, but the roots support us.

They were broken off because they didn't believe, while we remain in place because we do believe. But don not be proud of it; instead, be afraid.

I hope I can be humble and thank for His grace monetarily .

Paul compared Israelites to natural branches, Gentiles to a wild olive tree. He reminded the Gentiles not to be proud of their being saved since God would cut off a wild olive tree as He spared the natural branches.

Whoever has a hardened heart or has fallen would be treated with the severity of God. Yet he has the power to graft the disbelievers in again. It is His mercy and kindness that save the disobedient.

Thus, we, the children of the Lord, should not boast about the grace we receive from Him or befall others. The mystery conveyed by Paul can serve as a good reminder lest we be wise in our own conceits.

猶太人，是上帝的選民，自小就熟讀上帝的律法典章，知道彌賽亞要來，可是上帝差祂的兒子耶穌基督來世上，被釘在十字架上受死，埋葬，三天後復活，他的門徒和使徒們，廣傳福音，從耶路撒冷、猶太全地，和撒瑪利亞，直到地極，作祂的見證。猶太人確實聽見了，但多數的猶太人都不肯相信，不求告主，所以不能得救。倒是那些外邦人（非以色列人）聽了福音和主的道，就相信福音，求告主，蒙主寶血潔淨，罪得赦免，作上帝光明的子女。因此非以色列人得救的基督徒，順從福音的教導，順從福音中的主。所以「非以色列人的國民」的百姓被揀選，「上帝的選民猶太人」被棄絕。

傳福音是每一個蒙恩得救的基督徒所當做的，就像撒種的比喻（馬太13章），人的內心是否願意接受福音，完全是人的自由意志. 正如那四種土壤一樣。關鍵就在聽了道的人是否真正悔改，並「相信」福音，順從福音的教導，順服聖靈的帶領，一切以祂為主，都是為主而活。

"So faith comes from what is heard, and what is heard comes by the preaching of Christ" (Ro 10:17). This verse tells us the important role that the preacher and the one who spreads good news play. They need to fully convey what they conceive of from Jesus Christ. Despite the efforts they make, there will still be rebellious mind resisting gospel. Then patience and empathy do count so that preachers won't put stumbling block or obstacle in the way of a brother or sister.

How can men preach unless they are sent?
How are they to hear without a preacher?
How are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard?
How are men to call upon him in whom they have not believed?
"How beautiful are the feet of those who preach good news!"

This is process to let us gain belief, and continue cycling.
