「...但以理通達這事，明白這異象。當那時，我─但以理悲傷了三個七日。」10:1-2知道了，好像也是一件難受的事。
看著人類這樣"自我毀滅式"的文明進展，是有些好奇將來的ending，不過比起人類歷史進程，我比較想知道新天新地在哪裡，還是在地球上？外太空？異次元空間？
很喜歡但以理對主說的：「我主請說，因你使我有力量。」(10:19)願主天天對我說話。

Since I'm more narrow-sighted, I'm afraid I'll only want to be visualized what I will be. Besides, man likes to listen to good news. What if I see my future is dark and hopeless? 以色列聯合王國分裂為南北國後，北國稱為以色列，以耶羅波安為首，南方猶大國則以所羅門之子羅波安為首，雖然分成兩國，但是都有各自的過犯，而問題的源頭卻又是相同，便是離棄耶和華。
耶羅波安稱王後便驅逐祭司並祭拜鬼魔，羅波安雖然前三年得著耶和華的祝福，但是當國家開始強盛的時候便離棄了神；我想人有可能一開始便離開上帝，也有可能在得到祝福後便離開上帝，這是上帝給了人自由意識的恩典，然而在這恩典的另一面卻是常被人忽略的審判。
但願主憐憫我，常讓我發現自己的軟弱，不要濫用自由意識，讓我能行走在您的正路上。

草戊尚土 牧師和各位俱樂部的兄姐，平安：

"The truly righteous man attains life,…"(Pr 11:19).
Though it is not easy to be the one who is blameless, the righteousness will make a straight way. The righteousness of the upright won't be trapped by evil desires and will be rescued from trouble.
The righteous prosper and reap a sure reward. The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life. The advantages of being a righteous one are countless. It is indeed worthwhile to strive for it.

「完全人的義必指引他的路」(5)、「正直人的義必拯救自己」(6)，這個義是指好行為吧？！
義人：公平的法碼、謙遜、正直、純正、公義、不藐視鄰舍、不往來傳舌、心中誠實、恨惡擊掌（做保）、恩德、仁慈、撒義種、恆心為義、行事完全、好施捨、滋潤人、情願出賣屯糧、懇切求善、不倚仗自己財物...。
這裡所描述義人的行為，都是與別人互動時的品性，所以我們是無法住在山洞裡修行而成為義人的。
「義人所結的果子就是生命樹；有智慧的，必能得人。」(11:30)

「要叫他們的心得安慰，因愛心互相聯絡，以致豐豐足足在悟性中有充足的信心，使他們真知神的奧祕，就是基督；」
為什麼基督是奧祕呢？我覺得因為是解釋不出來所以才認為是奧祕，就像是為什麼保羅從一個迫害基督徒的人會變成使徒，或是為什麼和平教會有那麼多原本不認識的人成為主內兄姊，這是很難去理解的，大家所能知道的就是因著耶穌基督的救贖，這在耶穌還未來世之前是不可能發生的，我想上帝這種難以理解的愛也是一個奧祕。

Rehoboam resorted to army, force to regain the kingdom for himself. He didn't know forceful suppression couldn't win people's heart. The second mistake he made was his abandon of the law of the Lord after his position as king was established and he had become strong (2Ch 12:1).
Jeroboam rebelled against the Lord either. He appointed his own priest for the nigh places and for the goat and calf idols (11:15).
Because they were unfaithful to God, they paid the price. Rehoboam was later aware that he had to humble himself so he was not destroyed by the Lord. Yet never take God's deliverance for granted. We ought to be careful about the evil thoughts that come up to our mind.

不好意思，禮拜天的講道剛好是談到但以理的禱告，所以直接拿牧師講道的綱領來看這個禱告：
1.用上帝的應許禱告 (耶29:10; 出32:13)
2.禁食傷悲披麻蒙灰 (但9:3a; 拿3:5)
3.定意向主迫切祈求 (但9:3b; 何12:4)
4.慈愛公義憐憫饒恕 (但9:4, 9, 14; 出34:6-7)
5.犯罪作孽行惡叛逆 (但9:5; 詩106:6)
6.得罪上帝臉上蒙羞 (但9:8; 拉9:6)
7.犯法偏行咒詛誓言 (但9:11; 申28:45)
8.垂聽赦免睜眼眷顧 (但9:17-18; 王上8:29-30)
我的感想是但以理這篇禱告是為了別人犯罪而祈求上帝赦免的禱告，他和摩西一樣十分清楚這些罪行的下場，所以他悲痛又迫切的向上帝交涉，當中用到許多談判技巧，看來有點像是一個律師向法官的辯訴，但是他卻不是為了自己的利益，而是為了能救更多的以色列人。或許上帝有絕對的主權來決定結果，不過似乎祂也垂聽真誠又無私的禱告。

"The mystery that has been kept hidden for ages and generations, but is now disclosed to the saints….this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory"(Col 1:26-27).
The Lord has reconciled us by Christ's physical body through death to present us holy in His sight. What we should do is continue in our faith, established and firm. The mystery is not hidden anymore. The gospel has been proclaimed to every creature under heaven.

這「奧秘」就是基督（吧）！熟讀舊約、熱切期盼救主的以色列人，竟然成了把彌賽亞釘死在十字架的兇手...。反而是沒有包袱、（對救主形象）沒有想像的外邦人，得著救恩。
如一首詩歌所言「我真不知 神的奇恩如何臨到我身，我也不知 不堪如我救來有何足多...」。感謝讚美主！神救一切相信的人！

看不太懂，但這裡所謂的「約束」，應該是女子自己所許的願，非被迫。
以色列有女先知、女士師，舊約中對女性的"規定"，多是出於「保護」而非「挾制」。
不過，女子無自主權（單身時歸父管、婚後歸夫管），的確和現代不太一樣。

Daniel's visions show that history is in the hold of the Lord. The visions strengthened the confidence of the captured Jews so that they could wait with patience and with their strong belief in the Lord instead of worshipping Babylonian gods.
God has piloted human history and life. The visions from Daniel and from Revelation give us hope for a virtuous world free from temptations and evil.

When a young Israelite woman was still living in her house, her father had the right to nullify her vows or oath and had to be responsible for her guilt. An Israelite husband also had the right to forbid his wife by denying her pledge and meanwhile he should take responsibility for her guilt.
Yet, a widow or divorced woman was bound with her vow or obligation. Nowadays, each individual has to be responsible for his/her own behavior regardless of the marital status. So a woman needs to stick to the vow or pledge she makes. After all, equality and individuality are highly valued.
