有一次(long time ago)我很沮喪,告訴神:I failed, 我沒有做到原本"答應"祢要做的事--去當宣教士.祢還愛我嗎?
永遠不會忘記那個情景,神用一首詩歌安慰了我的心,"與你有約,是永恆的約,彩虹為證,千古不變".
神"永遠愛你"的約定,並不是建立在我們(自以為)為神做的事,而是根柢於神無限且無條件的愛,唯一要求的feed-back--就是"你們就作我的子民，我也作你們的神".
求神幫助我繼續跟隨這位"守約施慈愛"的神,永不偏離!阿們!

有一件事我曾求耶和華，我仍要尋求，就是一生一世在耶和華的殿中，瞻仰他的榮美，在他的殿裏求問。
記得這禮拜的證道是在講教會的成長，其中談到美國休士頓湖木教會，約爾牧師強調上帝的恩典與祝福，並成功的將他的教會擴張到47000人的超級教會，他所主張的便是不斷的向上帝祈求，『你要大大張口，我就給你充滿。』
再回到今天的經文裡：『有一件事我曾求耶和華，我仍要尋求』，其實這一件事是持續不斷的事，是要一生一世住在耶和華的殿中，這是多麼美好的事情，在殿中瞻仰他的榮美，並有恩惠慈愛跟隨，直到永遠；然而在這裡，我卻有點同意牧師的看法，這樣的祈求不是不對，而是忽略了一些事情。
親愛的主，請您給我信心抓住您的應許，求您擴張我們的境界，勇敢接近施恩寶座前，愛心接待出外的客旅，願意忍受對立的張力，與主生命有更深的連結，往前往外來擴展我的生命。

不好意思，這裡的故事確實讓我很難去了解，一個合神心意的人，竟然當了山寨老大，還叫小弟跑去一個有錢人家收保護費，人家發脾氣不給，就抄傢伙要殺他全家，那有錢人的漂亮老婆得知就趕緊送點東西意思意思，山寨老大心軟便打消要殺他全家的念頭，可是那有錢人還是死於非命，於是山寨老大便認為是天意，還派了小弟把人家的老婆娶回來作妾。
嗯，這樣解釋大衛與亞比該的故事可能太過負面，當然從好的去想，亞比該 EQ 高懂得化解危機，大衛會藉由信靠神來擊打仇敵，不過我覺得聖經的可貴便是在顯示人的軟弱，即便是一個被耶和華膏立為王的人，畢竟還是人，他仍有他的自由意志，神並不會百分之百控制他的作為，而是讓他做了他想做的事，但並不見得是 神想做的事吧。
但願主憐憫我，幫助我，指引我，帶領我，不要任憑我自己任意而行，讓您的話語做我路上的光，腳前的燈，疲乏時賜能力給我，軟弱時加力量給我，讓我從新得力，如鷹展翅上騰，奔跑卻不困倦，行走卻不疲乏。

『你們要謹慎自守，免去一切的貪心；因為人的生命，不在乎家道豐富。』
最近有一本很紅的書：『窮得只剩下錢』，作者是王陽明牧師，他認為人生有兩條路，一條是生活的路，另一條是生命的路，雖然兩條路層面是不同的，但卻不是二選一的選擇，而是兩條路都要走。
回到今天經文裡面那位無知的財主，我想他應該是只想走生活的路，而且走的似乎還不錯，但是生命的路要怎麼走，因為『無知』所以他大概也不清楚，於是便覺得我的生活富足了，生命也必然豐盛。
其實，在我還不是基督徒之前也是有著同樣的想法，我應該讓自己和家人過更好的生活，所以累積足夠的財富對我來說是很重要的一件事。但是為了賺錢我失去陪家人的時間，我也變得貪心，想買更好的車子，住更好的房子，久而久之靈魂便歸給了瑪門。
感謝主的憐憫，讓我『知道』我有可能因為主耶穌的恩典，能得著生活與生命的幸福，但是就如王陽明牧師的另一本書：『知行不合一』，有時我還是會被自己的意志所左右，但願主真的能給我同在的智慧，在生活與生命的追求上不斷的給我教導，讓我在面對問題時能給我最好的解答。

4.拿八死後,歸大衛為妻(41-43)
亞比該對拿八應該只是"忍受"著,而不是真的因傾慕而結合...雖然時間似乎有點兒快(不知真正時間長短),但拿八死後,亞比該已是自由身!大衛差人求親,不能說她"求之不得",但著實也沒看到她的猶豫.
至於大衛的部分,我覺得那是他很大的軟弱,或許不是真愛米甲,卻硬要拆散原來的恩愛夫妻;亞比該,表面上似乎是拿八死後大衛才差人去求親,但也有可能之前就想要染指(純屬猜測)...沒有完人哪!

法老的心固執；臣僕中因懼怕的被動聽從，而不放在心上的就不為所動。
法老因現實報應而被動認罪，然而內心終究固執，當情勢好轉即再次剛硬犯罪。
我認真的默想，法老就是人，僅是許多臣僕推崇而成的偶像，僅因眼前的禍害而需要外在被動的為己與為臣僕認罪，內心卻一直是不為所動。求神引領我不再固執，更不僅只因畏懼，而是能牢牢的將聖經的話語放在內心，清新心意。

首先，我想先感謝 草戊尚土 牧師 在百忙之中仍花那麼多時間來回應我們的看法，讓我從中收穫良多，真是很感謝，也但願天父阿爸保守您的平安。
『視而不見』，自以為是的那雙眼已經完全取代了鼻子上的那雙眼，所以看到再多的神蹟也無法改變法老的心意。
其實，我有時也會這樣，看到該做的事不想去做，看到不對的事不敢去糾正，看到別人受苦不會去關心，看到自己做錯卻也不想承認。
『視而不見』，讓我自己可以看不見每件事，但是 神卻又要讓我逐一看見。
親愛的主，感謝您給了我看見的恩典，但是我卻常常選擇看不見，但願您憐憫我，讓我能走到西羅亞的池子，用您的話語洗淨我的雙眼，讓您改變我的生命，讓我能重新看見這個世界。

In the shivering cold weather reding your stories of burning buddha or cross to have some warmth was quite intriguing to me...

What a concise compare and contrast between God and Idol...

Yeah, God created Man, and Man created Idol....but treated his humanly created Idol as God....
But it was very difficult for us to worship the true God. As all we could do was to worship what we believed as God, which was inevitably our psychological perception anc concept of God... which, by our definition, was idol....

This was a narrow path, and the road was not even or easy, but it would be worthy of our sweat and effort... and very happy to have some spiritual friends who could share with us this journey...

The worst idol was not cross or buddha sculpture... but our selves, our families, our fans.....

Yeah, God created Man, and Man created Idol....but treated his humanly created Idol as God....

Psalm 23 was short, but had great impact on the spiritual lives of many people of all generations.
The power of a poem was so great. Thanks for your comments and sharing. God revealed Himself to humanity through two pathways. The first pathway was through His creation of nature with natural law. The second pathway was His creation of culture through human creativity with moral law.
From these two laws, natural and cultural-moral, we could learn that our God was a God of order (cosmos), not God of disorder (chaos).

All three of you tried to deciphor the possible underlying psychological process of David's eldest brother's dialogue with David.
Yuze tried to explain Eliab's mentality in a more balanced way.
That was a very good try. Usually we would more tended to divinize the hero (David) of the story, and at the same time to demonize the opposite figure.
We should learn to avoid such stereotyping tendency....

卯同學的分享很有意思，這令我想起「拉比傳奇」中的一個故事，有相同意含。
也是一個天寒地凍的夜晚，一名流浪漢來到修道院投宿。修士不客氣地說『這是清修的地方，不是旅店。』但因流浪漢苦苦哀求，修士勉為其難的收留他，而且嚴嚴地對他說只留一晚，明天一定要走。過沒多久一聲巨響從流浪漢的房間傳出。修士急忙前來，開門一看，只見地上一堆爐火，修士問『你在作什麼?』流浪漢說『天氣實在太冷了，我升火取暖。』而牆上的耶穌十字架像不見了。修士氣急敗壞地說『你怎麼可以把我們敬愛的耶穌給燒了。』流浪漢一聽立即播弄著爐火。修士又問『你又作什麼?』流浪漢回答說『我在找你說的耶穌!』
