"And Moses said to Aaron, Go to the altar, and offer your sin offering, and your burnt offering, and make an atonement for yourself, and for the people: and offer the offering of the people, and make an atonement for them; as the LORD commanded"(Le 9:7).

The Lord wants His people not only to give offering but also to repent for their sin. Action and the change of the attitude should go together with each other. Yet the atonement of the sin cannot be realized with offering and repentance only. It's the Lord that makes it happen.

燔祭是祭牲完整地全部地放在壇上，經火焚燒化為堙氣上升，象徵整個祭物上升完全歸給天上的耶和華，可以稱呼為「完全的祭」。燔祭是將全隻祭牲燒在壇上，一點也不保留，作為人對神的敬奉。挪亞獻燔祭，向神表明他對神那份「完全」奉獻的心，他不會留下一些給自己吃用，將所有完全獻上（創8：18-21) 。我們的事奉更該如此，羅馬書 12:1 ～2節告訴我們：「所以弟兄們，我以神的慈悲勸你們，將身體獻上，當作活祭，是聖潔的，是神所喜悅的；你們如此事奉乃是理所當然的」。若能多認識燔祭的意義，或許我們會更容易明白神的心意，甚麼是信心、完全聖潔的擺上，認定神的旨意、堅執地去作主工。

凡祭司天天站著事奉神，屢次獻上一樣的祭物，這祭物永不能除罪。雖然獻燔祭和贖罪祭都是照舊約律法的儀式，然而卻不是神最高、至終的本意。因此獻燔祭給耶和華，不能除去人的罪。先知以賽亞指出，照神的旨意，真正的贖罪祭乃是一位「受苦的僕人─彌賽亞」(賽 53:10)。但我們的大祭司耶穌基督獻上自己為贖罪祭，獻了一次永遠的贖罪祭，就廢除了舊約的贖罪祭（來10:11~12），我們可以坦然無懼來到神的施恩座前，得憐恤、蒙恩惠，作隨時的幫助(來4:16)。

保羅在羅馬兩年期間，他放膽地傳講上帝國的道，傳福音沒有遇到阻礙的主要原因，乃是因著基督的恩典和真理的聖靈，常與他們同在，使他們能夠勝過人的惡念，暢傳福音，所以福音能夠傳播開來。路加寫這本使徒行傳的目的乃是「耶穌吩咐他的門徒在耶路撒冷，猶太全地和撒瑪利亞，以至地極，作祂的見證（徒一8）」。從初代教會11位門徒開始，到如今有21億4千萬基督徒，在這兩千年來，上帝的工作，聖靈的同在，為福音的緣故，保羅的受難，基督徒的被迫害，宣教士的無私地付出，和生活上的見證，都是有目共睹的。

「凡來見保羅的人，他全都接待。。」，保羅也曾說：「我這兩隻手常供給我和同人的需用，這是你們自己知道的」, 感謝主，從保羅身上我們看見保羅他懂得「施比受更為有福」的道理。（20：34-35）；保羅他待人接物，對神對人，常存無虧的良心（24：16），保羅他生活嚴謹，行事為人與悔改的心相稱 （26：20）。。可見保羅活出主基督的生命來，在日常生活上有見證，是眾教會群羊的榜樣，這是對我們基督徒，傳道人的好提醒：勤作主工，生活嚴謹，懂的給，不要只顧自己，到老，務必要Finish Well， 生活上有見證，愛上帝愛人，這樣傳福音才會有果效。

For two years Paul lived in a place he rented for himself, and there he welcomed all who came to see him. He preached about the Kingdom of God and taught about the Lord Jesus Christ, speaking with all boldness and freedom.

Some of them were convinced by his words, but others would not believe.

However, some believers meet Paul and he was greatly encouraged.

Let me see Paul insisted on his belief and he still need be encouraged.

「保羅在自己所租的房子裡住了足足兩年。凡來見他的人，他全都接待，放膽傳講　神國的道，將主耶穌基督的事教導人，並沒有人禁止。」(28:30-31)

「環境」對保羅來說，全都是可以利用來傳福音的途徑，旅行可以佈道、監獄可以佈道、居家監禁當然也是佈道。保羅用他的生命來傳揚基督、來回報那赦免他的救贖主。

另外...

「那裡的弟兄們一聽見我們的信息就出來，到亞比烏市和三館地方迎接我們。保羅見了他們，就感謝　神，放心壯膽。」(28:15)

即便如保羅這般的「屬靈強人」都需要主內肢體的扶持壯膽，我們應該也要多注意、關懷週遭那些被認為"沒有需要"的兄姐。

During the two years in Rome, Paul preached the kingdom of God and taught about the Lord boldly and without hindrance. From morning till evening he tried to convince the public about Jesus from the Law of Moses and from the Prophets.

We can learn from the verses that wherever Paul was, he never abandoned his mission. Though some were convinced and some did not believe, he did not give up. His perseverance was indeed worth our respect. After all, comfort and pleasure tend to prevent us from being aware of our duty of having gospel known to more and more people.

從保羅與主和上帝的使者的對話中（徒22：18；21； 23：11；27：24節），我們清楚地看到：在不同的患難中,保羅親身經歷上帝，明白上帝的旨意；上帝差保羅去向猶太人和外邦人傳福音，到耶路撒冷和羅馬（君王面前）為基督耶穌作見證；保羅深信上帝必與他同在；上帝對他的僕人之應許必然會實現；上帝不但保護祂的僕人保羅，也保護凡與他在一起的人。

因此，為了傳福音使萬名作主的門徒，為主作見證的緣故，我們可能會像保羅一樣，遇到挫折，難處，遭人唾棄。這些苦難難免會使人喪志，灰心。甚至看到不公不義的事一再發生，懷疑上帝的公義在那兒？主耶穌說：「所以你們要去、使萬民作我的門徒、奉父子聖靈的名、給他們施洗．〔或作給他們施洗歸於父子聖靈的名〕凡我所吩咐你們的、都教訓他們遵守，我就常與你們同在、直到世界的末了。」（馬太28：19～20）不要忘記:凡為主傳福音，主作見證的基督徒們，在苦難中，終必蒙拯救，因上帝必與我們同在，這又真又活的確據。

當遇到肇因於別人的苦難時，保羅選擇以「積極解決問題」的態度來面對，不去計較、譏笑。

27:25 (保羅：)所以眾位可以放心，我信　神他怎樣對我說：事情也要怎樣成就。

由保羅身上，學習到：重點不是別人怎麼說，也不是我怎麼想，而是「神怎樣對我說」。

保羅說：「亞基帕王啊，我故此沒有違背那從天上來的異象...。」(26:19) 他把自己的冤屈縮到最小、把福音放到最大，似乎是申辯，實則訴說主的救恩。誠如保羅在腓立比書信裡說的：「我活著就是基督，我死了就有益處。」

Festus shouted at Paul, "You are mad, Paul! Your great learning is driving you mad!"

Agrippa said to Paul, "In this short time do you think you will make me a Christian?"
Paul answered, "My prayer to God is that you and all the rest of you who are listening to me today might become what I am except for these chains!"

After that, they said "Paul has not done anything for which he should die or be put in prison."

Paul said any word according to God's thinking and help, so he still bravely testifies for God.

保羅在亞基帕王前見證的結論是：保羅是無罪的。但他們沒有當庭宣告保羅的無罪。怕得罪猶太人，讓令猶太人和公會反感，引起作亂。

非斯都代表羅馬政府把這群人看作是「癲狂了」的。保羅說：「我說的乃是真實」這是保羅的見證。基督徒為主作見證的理由也是如此。基督徒相信那從死裡復活的主，靠著基督耶穌的寶血和恩典得永生。至於猶太有關當局，他們相信先知，相信上帝對他們祖先的應許，相信上帝有奇妙作為的可能性，例如使耶穌從死裏復活。亞基帕王代表所有猶太人聽了福音的信息後，不敢正面地否認，也不敢正面的拿出勇氣來接受。他們在猶豫不決中間亞基帕王對保羅說，你想你稍為勸誘一下，就會使我作基督徒嗎？以上這些事實不但是當時的人對基督教的矛盾狀態，也是今日的人對基督教信仰的真實心態的寫照。亞基帕沒有提出可以反駁保羅的見證之事實和理由。他和今天的許多人一樣，大概礙於情面，他怕被勸而作了基督徒。

Though Festus and King Agrippa in fact believed in the messages that Paul conveyed, they showed sarcasm by saying that Paul was insane or that "in such a short time do you think you can persuade me to be a Christian?"(Ac 26:28). After all, submitting to the Lord was a face-threatening act to them.

However, Paul still firmly insisted on testifying for the Lord and sincerely appealed to the public that one day they could become Christians, the ones without chains. Paul cared about their needs so as to soften their hardened hearts.

When answering for himself, Paul was rigid and uncompromising. Even faced with oppression and opposition, he showed no fear in defending for justice and righteousness.

"For if I be an offender, or have committed any thing worthy of death, I refuse not to die: …" (Ac 25:11). This claim let Festus know that Paul was not a person who was afraid of death, but a person who did not want to die for wild accusation. "I refuse not to die" instead of "I refuse to die"… How striking an appeal is!

Paul defended himself: "I have done nothing wrong against the Law of Jews or against the Temple or against the Roman Emperor." And he said, "I am standing before the Emperor's own judgment court, where I should be tried."

Happy are those who are persecuted because they do what God requires; the Kingdom of heaven belongs to them.
