瞭解人的本性，就知道避免去製造無謂的爭競；畢竟人的天命是去勝過惡者--治理這地！而非是去治理贏過其他的人，陷入爭競比較。

The Lord is a jealous (De 4:24) and avenging God (5:9). Our jealousy and avenge mostly are out of selfish desire but the Lord's are to maintain justice and peace. That's why we cannot do what we'd like to do at will. Turn to Him and we will know how to take necessary and reasonable steps.

Human anger may often be sinful, both in origin and expression, but divine anger is always righteous. God displays just, righteous anger when His glory is offended and expects His creatures to do the same.
Unrighteous anger destroys our relationship with God (Gen 49:7; Pr. 30:33). So we should learn how to channel or direct our fierce anger, which definitely produces strife.

Nehemiah's prayer is concerned with praise (…the great and awesome God…), thankfulness (…keeps his covenant of love…), repentance (…I confess the sins we Israelites …have committed…), resolution (..but if you return to me…I will bring them to the place where I have chosen…), and an earnest wish (…give your servant success today by granting him favor…).
This prayer is rich in sincerity and concrete ideas. That's what I should learn while praying.
