Dear all, Peng An,
About leaving his coffin in Egypt, I thought of President Chiang KaiSek, who also left his coffin in Taiwan, wihtout burial under the ground. As a leader of a group which was kept as slave in a foreign land, with a promise from God that God would deliever them from slavery into freedom some generations later. Joseph revealed his faith and trust in the promise of God by ordering his coffin to stay above the ground in Egypt, as a reminder and encouragement to all the Israelite people to keep on their faith in God's promise of deliverance... Such is the beauty of a strong faith, and a great leader who would do what he could to encourage his followers to keep a strong faith in God's promise.
