"Whoever of you loves life and desires to see many good days, keep your tongue from evil and your lips from speaking lies. Turn from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it." (Psalm 32:12-14)

These verses point out the virtues in the righteous. The other day the Holy spirit let me see my own sin to have not kept my tongue from evil and my lips from speaking lies. Especially in face-threatening situations, I tend to be concerned more about the "face" and hurt the other party by uttering something evil and untrue. Confession is not easy but it is the best way to heal the broken-heart. I do repent for what I have done. May God give light to my eyes and His face shine upon me.
