The Israelites and the Gentiles share the same interest. When one party receives mercy, the other will be blessed as well. In God's plan, He blesses the Gentiles via the Israelites (Ge 12:3). When the Israelites don't perform this mission well, God blesses the Gentiles via Jesus.

But with His promises to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, He still loves the Israelites. One day, those Israelites with faith and confidence will receive the blessings from the Lord. His plan will not be disrupted. He has mercy on disobedient men (Ro 11:32).
