These verses show that Solomon demonstrated obsessive love to his bride, and even words are unable to express his innermost feelings. Yet beauty is in the eye of the beholder, so Solomon 4:7 "You are all fair, my love; there is no flaw in you" seems hyperbolic to me. No one is flawless and that's why it takes wisdom to get along with the one "our soul loves"(3:2).
