That women were considered unclean after conceiving doesn't mean that the Lord discourages giving birth. Instead, He says, "…Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it" (Ge 1:28).

Besides, "…women will be saved through childbearing—if they continue in faith, love and holiness with propriety" (1Ti 2:15). Thus, the guidelines for cleaning the women who had conceived were to facilitate purification and saving rather than discrimination or segregation.
