The Lord is good and to sing praise to His name is pleasant. Besides, He has chosen Jacob to be his own, Israel to be His treasured possession (Ps 135:3-4).

The Israel is a people holy to God (De 7:6-7; 2Pe 2:9). Whoever belonging to the Lord is a treasured possession of His. Those who haven't received mercy have received mercy. Then isn't it worthwhile to sing praise to His name?
