Jacob repented from the bottom of his heart so he felt pretty sorry, trying to beg forgiveness from Esau. Jacob bowed himself to the ground seven times, until he came near to his brother. Esau might have been touched by Jacob's sincerity so he embraced Jacob in meeting him.

Esau used to ask for more blessings from his father but now he felt content rejecting Jacob's presents. "I have enough, my brother; keep what you have for yourself" (Ge 33:9). These two brothers finally got along with each other and learned the value of sharing. God intervened and gave them grace and favor.
